Pay As You Mow provides pay-as-you-go garden maintenance services including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, grass cutting, garden tidying and regular garden care throughout Audenshaw, Denton, Dukinfield and nearby areas in Greater Manchester.

We operate on a flexible, contract-free basis. You only pay for the visits you need, and you can cancel or pause service at any time.

2. Bookings and Quotes

When you request a quote through our website, you are asking us to provide a free estimate for garden maintenance work. Quotes are free and non-binding. You are under no obligation to proceed with our services after receiving a quote.

We may provide a quote based on photos you supply, or we may need to visit your property in person to assess the work required. In-person quote visits are free and arranged at a time that suits you.

Once you accept a quote and book a service visit, we will confirm your appointment by phone, text or email. This confirmation creates a booking agreement between you and Pay As You Mow.

3. Cancellations and Changes

You can cancel or reschedule an appointment at any time by texting, calling or emailing us. We ask that you provide as much notice as possible, ideally at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or are not present at the agreed time without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover our lost time and travel costs. However, we will always discuss this with you first and try to reschedule wherever possible.

We may need to cancel or reschedule appointments due to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, illness or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative date.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of each visit. We accept payment by cash or online bank transfer.

Prices are quoted per visit and depend on the size of your garden, the work required and the time estimated to complete the job. We provide clear, upfront pricing before starting any work.

If additional work is required beyond the original quote, we will discuss this with you and agree on any extra charges before proceeding.

We reserve the right to refuse service or require advance payment if previous invoices remain unpaid.

5. Service Expectations

We will carry out all work to a professional standard using appropriate equipment and techniques. Our typical services include:

We will take reasonable care to avoid damage to your property, plants and garden features. If accidental damage occurs, we will discuss it with you immediately and take steps to remedy the situation.

We cannot guarantee results for work involving living plants, soil conditions or weather-dependent factors. Lawn health, plant growth and garden appearance depend on many factors outside our control.

6. Access and Safety

You are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to your garden on the day of service. Please inform us in advance of any hazards, hidden obstacles, underground cables, sprinkler systems or other features we should be aware of.

If we cannot safely access your garden or complete the work due to unsafe conditions, obstructions or access issues, we may need to reschedule or cancel the visit. No charge will be made in such cases.

Pets should be kept indoors or in a secure area during our visit for their safety and ours.

7. Liability and Insurance

Pay As You Mow carries public liability insurance to cover accidental damage or injury arising from our work.
